This Event Horizon Black Hole ambience is a simulation of the intensity of being near the vicinity of a black hole. Obviously there is no sound in space, so I'm taking some sound design liberties. This is intense asmr for sleep. #blackholevideo #intenseasmrforsleep #blackholeambience ASMR is an acronym for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's often described as an intensely pleasurable but relaxing sensation, sometimes referred to as 'tingles'. People often experience it in the context of slow and soft visual, sound or touch stimuli. Millions of people all over the planet are using ASMR to help reduce anxiety, promote deep relaxation, to aid concentration when studying or writing, as a background sound when reading, or as a white noise type of sleep aid. While it is not a substitute for therapy or medicine, it has been a profoundly positive influence on many lives. Many people don't experience the 'tingles' or don't experience them very often, but still derive positive experiences from ASMR. I gravitate mostly to the more layered, abstract and experimental side of ASMR, which often has more in common with ambient music (in the sense of 'creating an atmosphere). My ambient music and soundscapes are very much influenced by the works and philosophy of John Cage, Brian Eno (the origin story of 'ambient music' as a genre sound very much like an ASMR experience to me), and the sound worlds of Steve Roach. At times the sleep sounds I craft veer from classical ASMR content into more overt ambient soundscapes, but they're all made with the intention of giving the listener a deep, relaxing and pleasurable experience.
